Article 4 (Information Handled by AI Generation Features)
The App’s AI generation features — such as the AI voice, “Letters from Talk to Me,” and self-reflection reports — send the following information to an external AI service (Anthropic’s Claude API; see Article 3) for the purpose of generating text.
- Information sent whenever the features are active (while on a Partner plan or during trial delivery)
- Toku labels and counts
- Total toku count, current streak, and days of use (days since you started the App)
- Language setting
- Information sent only with your explicit consent
- Your aspiration (goal)
- Your replies to letters
- Toku memos, mood records, and “good things” records
- Requests you write for the AI
- Information never sent: Your nickname, email address, user ID, and device information are not sent.
- AI memory: To improve generation quality, a summary of what the AI has learned about you (its memory) may be stored. You can view its full text and delete (reset) it at any time within the App.
- Withdrawing consent: The transmissions described in item 2 can be turned off at any time in the App’s settings. After turning them off, the corresponding information will no longer be sent.
- Safety handling: If content suggesting serious distress is detected, nothing is sent to the AI and a pre-prepared response is shown instead.
- Deletion: When you delete your account, all generated content (voice messages, letters, and self-reflection reports) and the AI’s memory are deleted as well.
Article 5 (Information Handled by the Movement Feature)
The Movement feature (a feature that allows Users to organize and join small acts of kindness and post about their activities) handles user information as follows.
- Scope of publication: Movement posts (titles, descriptions, activity reports including text and images) are visible to other Users of the App. For each post, the User can choose to appear under their nickname or anonymously; the User’s ID and email address are never disclosed to other Users.
- Meeting place details: Of the activity location, only the city or municipality is visible to other Users. The details of the meeting place are shared only with the participants of that Movement.
- Image location data: Posted images are re-encoded on the server, and Exif metadata, including location (GPS) data, is automatically removed.
- Automatic review: For automatic pre-publication review, posted text is sent to an external AI service (Anthropic’s Claude API) and posted images are sent to Google’s Cloud Vision API (see Article 3). As a result of the review, a post may not be published.
- Records of reports: The content of reports submitted by Users (the target and the reason) is recorded for the purpose of responding to violations.
- Deletion of posts: Users may delete (withdraw) their own Movements and posts through functions provided within the App.
Article 6 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Operator will not provide personal information to third parties without the User’s consent, except as required by laws and regulations.
Article 7 (Management and Deletion of Personal Information)
- Users may delete their own data through functions provided within the App.
- Uninstalling the App alone does not delete data stored on the server. If you wish to completely delete your data, please use the account deletion function within the App or contact us through the inquiry channel.
- Even if the App is linked with a Google Account or Apple ID, Users may delete the user data managed by the App by deleting their account within the App.
- However, in-app purchase history is managed by Apple or Google through their respective stores, and Partner plan information may also be recorded by the in-app purchase management service RevenueCat. Therefore, such information may not be completely deletable by the Operator.
Article 8 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
The Operator may change the contents of this Policy. The revised Policy shall take effect when it is posted in the App or on the official website.
